I have some very exciting news for you all. Maybe the biggest news ever in the Avatar world… According to the biggest Avatar News outlet, we will in fact be getting a new animated Series following the Earth Avatar After Korra. So literally just a few minutes ago, Avatar News had the exclusive scroop that the next Avatar Animated series will follow the Earth Avatar after Aang and Korra.

According to the report, Avatar Studios is behind the series, and it will be releasing on Paramount Plus. WE haven’t been given an exact time period for when the show will be set, but if we take a guess based on how far forward Korra was from Aang, that would put us right around the modern day. Aka our time period now. Korra was a 1920s sort of theme, so I wonder how it’s going to look with a 2020s theme. We better not have Firebender tiktok ok. To be fair though, there are a lot of concepts that can definitely be explored in the aftermath of the Legend of Korra series. Some things with the spirit world probably do need to be cleaned up, and there is likely a strong and growing hatred of monarchies around the four nations. I could even see the position of Fire Lord start to collapse in the wake of Book 4 of Korra.D!?!?!?
