Singer-songwriter Jo.e (Jessica Pineda Rodriguez) is getting better as she goes as her new single entitled “Pretend” proves. This time, she gets some assistance from fellow singer-composer MJ Guintu Balingit. The resulting collab is a catchy, acoustic-flavored pop number that just sticks to our ears everytime we hear it. It all the more excites us to think that Jo.e is just getting warmed up and we can’t wait until her next stuff comes out. But for the meantime, “Pretend” will do just fine.
