Brooke Shields: 60 Second Bio

Brooke Christa Shields is an American actress and model. Born on 31st May 1965 in New York, she began her career as a child model and gained widespread fame in the 1980s for her leading role in "Louis Malle's" film "Pretty Baby", along with her roles in "The Blue Lagoon" and "Endless Love."
Shields was the youngest fashion model ever to appear on the cover of Vogue at the age of 14.
In addition to her film work, Shields has appeared in numerous television shows, including "Suddenly Susan," for which she earned two Golden Globe nominations. She has also published several books, including a memoir and a children's book.
Throughout her career, Shields has been a vocal advocate for women's health issues, particularly postpartum depression, after struggling with the condition herself following the birth of her first child.
Today, Shields remains a cultural icon, known for her beauty, talent, and commitment to using her platform to raise awareness for important causes. Her enduring legacy as an actress and model has inspired countless women and girls around the world.
