This is what the frustration of adhd feels like

You consistently have days where you feel terrible and can’t get motivated,** days where you just won’t function, where everything is difficult and you wish you could just break out of your brain. Looking around, you envy others who are able to lead these stable lives. They always seem to be in control and so you ask yourself “Why cant I just be like them? Why does my life have to be so difficult? leading to feeling bitter and resentful.

This is when I had to learn to accept the suffering that comes with my adhd and how to find meaning in it.** I realized that what makes life worth living are the struggles we have because that way the wins are worth something. Having terrible off days, make my good days that much more exciting and fulfilling. Starting something 1 day before the deadline gives my brain incredible creativity last minute. Maybe, just maybe you have adhd for a reason and if so, maybe that could change everything.
