BOSTON, MA -- Jaylen Brown was interviewed following Boston's 91-82 loss to the Clippers on Wednesday in what was one of Boston''s poorest shooting performances on the season. The Celtics struggled against the Clippers zone defense, but Brown stated that "Teams are daring us to take shots (vs zone defense). We should make teams pay when they go in a zone, things like that. We're in the NBA. We didn't make enough shots to compete and we were still in the game."

When asked if bad shooting was contagious, Brown said "s**t, I guess so. We got a lot of great looks and we didn't make them." He continued to say that this performance can't and won't discourage the team from shooting. "I’m still confident. Despite what the statistics say, if you have an open shot you’ve gotta shoot it," said Brown, "I tell Romeo, I tell Payton, I tell myself, ‘If you’re open, you’ve got a good look, you’ve gotta take it.’ I had good looks tonight."
