February 4, 2022, is being recognized as National Wear Red Day for Women’s Heart Health. Wear Red to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and help save lives. Why do you ask? Because losing even one woman to cardiovascular disease is too many. The first Friday each February, the nation comes together igniting wave of Red from coast to coast with the common goal to eradicate heart disease and stroke.

According to the Heart Association, heart disease and stroke cause one in three deaths in women every year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. The Heart Association indicates 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action. So, let’s do our part and make our heart health a priority this year and make a commitment to engage in healthy behaviors.

This training provides insight into this critical health crisis and how we can make positive changes that could promote lifestyle results.
