◆ TWHG2 Tutorial is a series of four levels that are designed to teach you how to play the game. I speedran this in 2019 when there was a bit of hype around TWHG2 and got a 33.3, but hsblue and Tai0 beat me using a more advanced strategy for L4. After two years, I have come back to reclaim the world record, but just one frame. Because it's so short, it's possible to get really optimised speedruns in Tutorial Mode, this run is still a few frames from perfect, but it's pretty close.

The fastest known times as of 12-Dec-22 are:
L1: 4.10
L2: 8.26 (I lost 3 frames here)
L3: 8.03 (I lost 3 frames here)
L4: 11.86 (I lost 1 frame here)
All in all the best possible time at this stage is 32.26

Level Breakdown:
L1: This is the easiest part of the speedrun but not trivial. You have to collect all the coins without letting go of right, which can be a bit tricky. Doing this properly gives a time of 4.10
L2: This was one of the hardest for me to do optimally. As far as I can tell 8.33 is the best possible time, meaning I lost one frame here, but faster might be possible
L3: This level is fairly easy, and there's just one spot where you need to do precise movement to get a good time. In this run I got an 8.13 which is not great. That's at least two frames behind the best possible time.
L4: This is the level where I implemented the faster strategy I wasn't using before. At first, I found it really difficult. The start is quite tight and also it's tough to get a fast finish at the end. However, after practicing I became very consistent at it and frequently got about 12.00 on L4. Luckily in this run I got an 11.90 which is my personal best and a really good time.
