COVID-19 infections have been rising in Singapore over the past two weeks. But the Health Ministry said the circulating variants are not more transmissible, nor do they cause more severe disease. For the week ending Dec 2, there were more than 32,000 estimated COVID-19 cases, an increase of almost 10,000 compared to the week before.
