Living in Florida I needed a way to workout indoors, but I did not want to take time out of my day to go to a gym to do it. I decided that a home treadmill would be a good way to start as it would allow me to workout on my terms and on my time schedule. I chose this Anchor treadmill for several reasons: It has a space saving design. I didn’t want my treadmill to become a clothes hanger. I wanted something that I could easily move out of the way when not in use and that was not heavy or clunky to move. This treadmill folds up flat and is on wheels, allowing me to slide it under a bed, put it behind other furniture or place it in a closet easily. Set up and Programming are intuitive. I didn’t want to read a huge manual to get started. The treadmill puts together quickly and easily. The programming screen allows me to track multiple objectives such as time, calories, heart rate and distance easily. Low Noise Motor and Safety Features The treadmill is equipped with a safety key so it can stop immediately in emergency situations. It has wide enough running boards on either side of the belt for comfortable foot placement. Speed starts out slow and can be adjusted up or down easily on the display pad to your own comfort level. The machine is not overly noisy and you can watch tv or listen to music without loud background noise. These are the machine specifications to help you decide if this is right for you.
