End of an Era es un DVD de la banda finlandesa de power metal sinfónico Nightwish. Fue realizado en el estadio Hartwall Areena en Helsinki (Finlandia) y grabado el 21 de octubre de 2005 durante el concierto final de una larga gira internacional de la banda promocionando su álbum Once. Durante el concierto se puede ver la participación especial del amerindio John Two-Hawks, quien interpreta el tema «Stone People» de su álbum Honor como introducción a «Creek Mary's Blood», que se caracteriza por el uso de la flauta.

End of an Era es el último concierto de la cantante Tarja Turunen en el grupo. El DVD también contiene una galería de fotos y un documental (A Day Before Tomorrow) de 55 minutos sobre los 15 días previos al espectáculo.

El 29 de mayo de 2009 salió la versión Blu-ray en alta definición (720p) con un sonido Dolby Digital.

Century Child (Álbum)

Century Child es un álbum del grupo de metal finlandés Nightwish. Es su cuarto álbum, publicado en el año 2002, es el primer álbum con el bajista Marco Hietala, anteriormente miembro del grupo Sinergy, quien también hace voces, reemplazando a Sami Vänskä. Century Child incluye canciones que tocan una gran variedad de temas y pensamientos en sus letras, desde la furia (en Slaying the dreamer) hasta el más completo romanticismo (en Forever yours).

El disco también tiene la particularidad de incluir una versión de "El Fantasma de la Ópera" (The Phantom of the Opera), originalmente escrita por Andrew Lloyd Webber para Sarah Brightman y Michael Crawford. Esta obra también fue versionada por bandas del mundo del Gothic metal como Dreams of Sanity, Lacrimosa y Anabantha (siendo la versión de este último en español).

El álbum fue doble platino en Finlandia con más de 60.000 copias vendidas, el segundo álbum más vendido en Finlandia en el año 2002. Hoy en día, Century Child ha vendido más de 90.000 copias sólo en Finlandia.1 A nivel mundial vendió más de 350.000 ejemplares entre 2002 y 2003.
