MY ENGAGEMENT SPEECH:
Amara, it’s been 7 years since we met on that fateful day at McDonald’s and my life has never been better. We have been through the good, the bad and the ugly in this seven years which is more than enough reason for me to want to spend the rest of my life with you.
But the most important reasons of all is that I genuinely love you and will keep reassuring that anytime you have doubts.
I love you because you make me laugh, you inspire me to be a better person, you have been patient with me during my lowest points.
I love you because you will be an amazing mother who will take care of our family. Sometimes I unconsciously call you mum because you remind me of everything my mother is to me.
