The revelation that Jennifer McCabe searched "hos long to die in the cold" on Google helped turn the Karen Read case into one of the most closely watched legal sagas in Massachusetts. The defense claims she searched the phrase before John O'Keefe's body was reported on a Canton lawn, part of their allegation Read was framed, while the prosecution says she searched it in the moments after the body was found. The search came up when McCabe took the stand in Norfolk Superior Court Friday.
