Speaker Biography: Colm Tóibín is the author of seven novels, including "The Master," winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and "Brooklyn," winner of the Costa Book Award and now a major motion picture. He is also the author of best-selling "Nora Webster" and "The Testament of Mary." Tóibín is currently the Irene and Sidney B. Silverman professor of the humanities at Columbia University.
