Speaker Biography: Colm Tóibín is the author of seven novels, including "The Master," winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and "Brooklyn," winner of the Costa Book Award and now a major motion picture. He is also the author of best-selling "Nora Webster" and "The Testament of Mary." Tóibín is currently the Irene and Sidney B. Silverman professor of the humanities at Columbia University. His latest book, "House of Names," is a thrilling retelling of the story of Clytemnestra.
