On Monday, November 14, 2022 Pascal Bruckner, a French philosopher, novelist, and a Professor at Sciences Po (Paris) for twenty years, discussed the nondemocratic state of Russia, a country long devoted to slavery and autocracy that never abandoned the idea of being an empire.
Through quotations from Russian writers, Vassili Grossman, Alexander Soljhenitsin, Bruckner attempted to show how Putin and the Kremlin have declared war on the West and independent Ukraine since the beginning of the 21st century.
