For centuries now, Martial Arts have provided humans with a method of using the body as its own self defence tool. Multiple different types of Martial Arts exist, each with their own unique take on how to make sure that you are capable of defending yourself. There is most definitely a philosophy that exists for each Martial Art. Dr Komal Rao ma'am is here to share her insights about beautiful philosophy behind each and every martial art has. Dr. Komal Rao is an international Mixed Martial Arts Athlete, Motivational Speaker, Instructor in Art and philosophy of Bruce Lees Jeet Kune Do. She has studied Business Management from Harvard and Exercise Physiology from Stanford. She is one of the few pro mma women atheletes in the world to have defeated a man in a cage fight. She holds a fifth degree blackbelt with over two decades of training in martial arts. She has studied Zen in temples of South Asia and Samurai traditions from Japan. She shot to fame as “Woman of Steel” when she became one of the handful women in the world to defeat a German male challenger in a internationally acclaimed MMA cage fight in Germany.
