And who better to learn from than CLAUDE MONET? Monet was able to see light more differently than other artists due to his unique approach to painting. He was primarily interested in capturing the changing effects of light and atmosphere on color and form, rather than creating a realistic representation of the subject. Monet used a variety of techniques to capture these effects, such as painting quickly to capture fleeting moments of light, using small brushstrokes to create a sensation of movement, and overlapping colors and shapes to create the appearance of light reflecting off of the surface of his paintings. This unique approach to painting meant that Monet was able to create a beautiful and unique representation of light that was unlike anything seen before.
