Mathura Dhrupad , AFAIK , was distinctly more sweetly lyrical than other streams like Dagar Bani or Khandar Bani etc. Mathura Dhrupad tradition produced venerable Sh. Ganeshi Lal and Sh. Chandan Chube et al , great luminaries of the famous Music Conferences Era of recent past (from pre 1920s to1930s).
Hard to find any practitioners , worth mentioning , now a days !!
