The Dark Knight (2008)

Batman is raising the stakes in the war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant James Gordon and Prosecutor Harvey Dent, he intends to cleanse the streets of the crime that poisons the city. Their cooperation proves to be effective, but soon they find themselves in the midst of chaos unleashed by a new criminal genius known to the frightened citizens as the Joker.
