Chico & the Gypsies are the guest stars of the 2017 "Fête des Guinguettes" in Le Plessis-Robinson, France. Chico & the Gypsies is a French musical formation of rumba Catalana, flamenco, and latin-pop tunes led by Chico Bouchikhi who was one of the founders of the Gipsy Kings. After he left the Gipsy Kings for differences with the band, he formed Chico & the Gypsies. In 2012, Chico & the Gypsies celebrated twenty years' anniversary. Although group members were born in France, their parents were mostly Spanish gypsies who fled Catalonia during the 1930s Spanish Civil War. They are known for bringing Catalan rumba, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music to worldwide audiences. About this concert filmed in Le Plessis-Robinson, Chico surprised the audience after 30 minutes of concert by inviting on stage 3 original members of the Gipsy Kings, Canut Reyes, Patchai Reyes and Pablo Reyes.
