The Kansas City Chiefs came into the 2022 NFL season needing to prove a lot of doubters wrong, mainly having to do with establishing a successful new dynamic for their offense. After the departure of Tyreek Hill during the 2022 NFL offseason, many were curious if Patrick Mahomes and the KC Chiefs could sustain the same level of success.

Well, through just the first portion of the season, Andy Reid & the Chiefs might be better than ever, and it’s for MANY different reasons. With the now known ridiculous wide receiver depth in guys at the top like Travis Kelce, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling (MVS) and Mecole Hardman followed by rookie Skyy Moore, Justin Watson, Jody Fortson, & Noah Gray, their abilities have seemed endless.

Then even with their surprising run game dominance so far from Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Jerick McKinnon & hidden GEM Isiah Pacheco being utilized, Mahomes and the Chiefs are continuing to prove that they are able to dominate almost no matter what pieces are surrounding them. But in terms of the Chiefs defense, this seems to be all that needs major work at this point.
