The origins of the Bushido code are found in the "Gunki Monogatari" or war tales of the Japanese Middle Ages. After doing some research, these are the seven Bushido Code principals. Remember, what we today call "The Bushido Code" is based on a long tradition of expectations that Japanese warriors were expected to follow. We also know that samurai were fallible humans. Many samurai broke their respective codes, just like many of us break the speed limit every now and then.
