I decided to become the main character in my own life. Okay, I’m not going to pretend like it’s now a common occurrence and I always live life to the fullest. I don’t. But I want to treat life differently. I want it to be an exciting journey, not a dreadful collection of failures and unfortunate events which I’ve been mostly focusing on. I want to romanticise my life as much as I can - simply because that’s what I’ve often done when I was a child, but stopped for some reason after becoming an adult.

Life isn’t just in the mundane, reality isn’t an ever sceptical creature. Life is in tiny moments you choose to notice, in little details you encounter on your path. Yes, it’s also in hardships, and boring routines, but these are not the only things our everyday is made out of.

I’ve started reading this book by Ray Bradbury a while ago.. Dandelion Wine. To me this book is a collection of memories I too had, and a sweet summer dream that we all once had.
“The grass whispered under his body. He put his arm down, feeling the sheath of fuzz on it, and, far away, below, his toes creaking in his shoes. The wind sighed over his shelled ears. The world slipped bright over the glassy round of his eyeballs like images sparked in a crystal sphere. Flowers were sun and fiery spots of sky strewn through the woodland. Birds flickered like skipped stones across the vast inverted pond of heaven. His breath raked over his teeth, going in ice, coming out fire. Insects shocked the air with electric clearness. Ten thousand individual hairs grew a millionth of an inch on his head. He heard the twin hearts beating in each ear, the third heart beating in his throat, the two hearts throbbing his wrists, the real heart pounding his chest. The million pores on his body opened.
