Before the virus cut down all practice, everyone was healthy and training together at AKA American Kickboxing Academy in San Jose Ca. Khabib Nurmagomedov was looking amazing in camp, ready to face Tony Ferguson. Islam Makhachev was ready to show the world why he needs a top ten opponent. Umar Nurmagomedov was about to make his debut in the UFC. This was going to happen all on the same card of UFC249. The fight did not come to fruition and the world is still sorting out all kinds of chaos in the mean time. So we decided to share some behind the scenes clips, just to give you more of a look into Khabib Nurmagomedov's camp and his Dagestan brothers Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov. These guys were preparing for a clean sweep, they will get a chance to do that in the future. Where some of their opponents have changed such as Justin Gaethje will now face Khabib, and Islam will most likely have a new opponent. You can see the family vibe team AKA puts out, even if they are punching each other hard in the face. The AKA gym is all about respect and brotherhood even in such an individual sport.
