In this episode I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Mike Israetel, PHD in Sport Physiology and Co-Founder of Renaissance Periodization. Mike discusses the overload training modalities straight sets, down-sets and tempo variations. Furthermore he divs into the best proxies for hypertrophy both in the short and the long-term. These topics will be covered in depth in his upcoming book “Scientific Principles of Hypertrophy Training”. He also gives an update on where he is at in his own training at the moment.
