I show two methods you can choose from. This technique can be used to make parquet, herringbone, chevron and other patterns as well. I made 1:12 scale flooring but you can make flooring for other scales by changing the dimensions. 1:24 scale - 1/8" wide boards, 3.5" long 1:12 scale - 1/4" wide, 7" long To simplify things, you can make the boards up to 8" long. You get more coverage, so it takes less time and has fewer seams. 1:6 scale - 1/2" wide, 14" long I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, dioramas, accessories, kits and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale. Please Like, Comment & Subscribe to support my efforts and so you don't miss out on future videos. Thank you, Shyra |
