Relief supplies arrive in Xinjiang region as quake rescue continues |

Rescue operations are underway in China's far west Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region after a magnitude 6.7 earthquake shook Akto County, killing one person. Authorities say a magnitude 5 aftershock jolted the county on Saturday afternoon. Relief supplies have been transported to the quake-hit region, with rescuers examining the security of the impacted houses.
