An expert in cybersecurity, George Balafoutis works for Microsoft’s Global Cybersecurity Practice as a Cybersecurity Architect. He leads the company’s Worldwide Cybersecurity Champion program, which numbers approximately 150 cybersecurity champions throughout the world. Prior to Microsoft, George worked for several years at Trustwave, the leading credit card security company, where his responsibilities continuously expanded, always focusing on Fortune 500 companies. George holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, MSc in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University, and BSc in Mathematics from the National University of Athens.
