The score was taken from the book, 'The Piano Collection Volume 1'. I've always had somewhat of an interest/fascination with these modern day minimilist/ambient composers - Philip Glass, Yann Tiersen and Ludovico Einaudi being the foremost of them. All three have a very unique sound, although they do all share alot of similarities, not least of which that once the melody is established, there is very little actual musical development apart from constant recapitulations with slight variations. Einaudi's music is much gentler, and more 'earthy' than the other two, the ambience set is often intoxicating, as I find this piece to be. I hope to upload more Einaudi in the future, if anyone has any suggestions for pieces, do please say :) On a different note, for those of you who like to read, I've written a novel - a work of absurdist fiction which falls somewhere in between Alice in Wonderland and Kafka - which can now be found on Amazon Kindle. Here is a link to the US store. The book is also available in other territories too, like the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy etc. Check it out! http://www.amazon.com/Kierkegaards-Apple-ebook/dp/B005GLG2PK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322431558&sr=8-1 |
