When it comes to my simple 8 Steps, the first one is Personal Use. By setting the example you are the example. A visual is worth 1,000 words of advice.

Next, you have to do the work. Performance gets results. See work as an opportunity that can lead to success.

Do you listen? Lean in to be in ... Listen! You'll never know what you don't know until you embrace the unknown.

Do you keep learning? You have to read. It sharpens your mind. If you read daily, then you will learn daily.

Do you show up? Meetings aren't always easy to attend, but they are necessary, helpful and they should be fun. Show up! You make the meeting better by showing up.

Stay humble to remain thirsty. Be teachable. Success is there for those willing to accept the lesson.

Say what you are going to do and then do it. Accept liability for obligations you take on. Be accountable. Deliver on your promises.

The last one: Communicate with a Positive Mental Attitude. Speak positives to yourself. Offer positive words to others too!
