Smith Optics Creating Mystery To Perfection |

Smith Optics with a really cool ad. Immediately when you look at it, you can tell there's an activity going on. I mean who wears a tucked in shirt like that? Clearly, this person is getting ready to do something, and when I look at the copy “Designed for performance at full speed” that says a lot about the product in a brief way. It tells a story about the way you can expect to use these products, the type of people that would buy them, and it says it very quickly. I mean how many letters is that? In six words I have an understanding that these products are built for full effort and I can expect them to hold up. I don't even need to read the rest of the copy. I know exactly what's going on here and maybe I can't even see what ... The coolest part about the ad is that I can't even see the whole glasses. I have to click through to see more.
That is just a great way to get people engaged with your brand and checking out your products. Show them a taste of what they're looking at. I mean the thing isn't even all the way constructed, and now I'm curious about how it comes apart and how it works, and I'm clicking through looking at the glasses, looking at what else they offer, interested in the brand, then I'm getting remarketed to. You need to engage people in a way like this. Speak to a specific audience which they've done, and get them to click through and look at the products more which they've done. It's a great ad. You don't need multiple pictures. You can accomplish what you want to accomplish with good creative and good copy. I'm Bobby Dietz. Thanks for watching.
