Today I will discuss my Top 10 REITs to own list. This list is not to be taken as a 'BUY NOW' list but rather a list of 10 High-Quality REITs to consider for your portfolio.

These REITs all have great business models with great tenants and have the ability to outperform during times of low economic growth.

REITs have been one of the top performing asset classes over the past few decades, something that is often not known to new investors.

REITs are shielded from Corporate Income Taxes if they meet the IRS requirements to obtain REIT status, and one of those requirements include paying out 90% of their taxable income to shareholders in the form of dividends. This is why you often see REITs have higher dividend yields.
