Rotman Design Challenge 2013 |
|
Welcome to the exciting world of Business Design and Design Thinking. As business problems have become more complex, the analytical approach of the past is not enough. To thrive in a world of rapid change, business people have to out-imagine the competition, by learning how to think — and act — more like designers.
The Rotman School has become a world leader in promoting the principles and practices of design thinking. On March 2 and 3, 2013, the School hosted the Rotman Design Challenge, which brought together teams from Rotman and schools around the world (MIT Sloan, the Institute of Design in Chicago). Participants competed to provide design solutions to a business challenge presented by Target, the American retail chain. Rotman is one of the world's leading business schools and offers the #1 MBA in Canada, according to the Financial Times. Located in downtown Toronto, and part of the University of Toronto, Rotman (http://www.rotman.utoronto.ca) is the perfect place to study business, leadership and innovation.
