The Pulse: Show #59 | APRIL FOOLS SPECIAL | Mental Health, Ireland Impact, Entertainment, & More! |
|
The Pulse, Sacred Heart University's TV News Magazine, is staffed by students enrolled in TV News Magazine Production I and II courses. All Pulse content is entirely written, filmed, edited and produced by students.
The Pulse program transcends from popular news programs such as CBS's “60 Minutes”, and NBC's “Nightly News”, showcasing university and local community feature stories. Our student reporters learn to develop and fine tune their technical and editorial skills needed to enter the workforce as digital multimedia journalists and/or digital multimedia production professionals. Emphasis is placed on research, writing, interviewing, reporting, and technical camera and studio production skills. We encourage any student throughout the School of Communication, Media and the Arts to become involved as well! The Pulse consistently seeks student contributors interested in editorial, video and technical production. Each member of The Pulse crew has the opportunity to operate control room and studio equipment, while obtaining professional experience. Interested in joining The Pulse staff?
