Varu, a filmmaker, uses her imagination to write a screenplay, goes into the world of "Vaan Varu Vaan" where she writes a romantic crime flick between two police officers. She designs the character of the male lead as what she seeks in her ideal man. However in reality Varu is engaged to Sanjay, her childhood sweetheart of 14 years. Sanjay heads a group of lawyers in his law firm which has a reputable name in Singapore.
