The Kansas City Public Library is a doorway to knowledge for all people in our community. Consisting of a central library and nine additional branches, the library system serves as a resource for the 1.7 million metropolitan residents in the Kansas City area. The Youth & Family Engagement Department specializes in serving children ages 0 to18 years old and provides countless programs and resources that foster a love of reading, learning, and creative discovery in Kansas City's youngest residents. https://kclibrary.org.
