These are definitely turbulent and trying times. The rules seem to change on a daily basis. We’ve been told so many things lately and, honestly, it’s difficult to know what to believe at times.

For instance, the topic of wearing masks creates a lot of emotion. Some don’t want to wear a mask or see the need to wear one and others don’t know why people would be so selfish as to not wear a mask.

Now, I want to be very clear. We aren’t telling you what you should or shouldn’t do, but obviously, wearing masks decreases the spread of germs…that’s why surgeons have worn them for years.

This past week, our County Mayor suggested and strongly encouraged everyone to wear a mask in public. So, we’re going to ask you to consider wearing a mask to church on Sunday.

We obviously want to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus...but, in reality, we want all people to feel comfortable at church.

Again, we’re not requiring masks, we’re just asking you to strongly consider wearing one so everyone will feel comfortable in joining together in community to worship our Lord.

So, this Sunday, when you see our staff wearing masks in the hallways, you’ll know why...because we want to do everything to serve our body & make them feel comfortable. Would you consider joining us in this effort?

Again, I miss you and I can’t wait to see you in person. Until then, please keep leaning in and not laying back.
