On this week’s Scout Report, we take a look at 3 potential summer transfers that would make a lot of sense were they to happen! We kick off with rumours linking José Gaya to Juventus, with the Valencia captain also a long-time target for Barcelona, who are looking for a long-term replacement for Jordi Alba. With the Spanish side apparently unwilling to sell to a rival, Juve could have an advantage, and considering the decline in Alex Sandro’s performances, a new left-back should be a priority for them this summer, whether or not they qualify for the Champions League or have to sell Ronaldo.

Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, may need a replacement for Jadon Sancho, and PSV youngster Noni Madueke has been touted as a potential candidate. The Englishman has impressed in the Eredivisie and Europa League this term, and can play at both centre-forward and on the right – he may also be available for under €20million! Finally we look at Boubakary Soumare’s expected move to Leicester City. The French midfielder has helped take Lille to the cusp of wrestling the Ligue 1 title away from Neymar and MBappé at PSG, and has improved massively this season – he may well have what it takes to thrive in the Premier League.
