'Appalling!' Has the Sussexes' Netflix trailer derailed William and Kate's US trip? | The Royal Tea |
|
Lady Susan Hussey has resigned at the heart of another royal racism row after 'deeply regrettable' comments were made to a black domestic abuse campaigner, Meghan Markle's comments that the royal family was institutionally racist were 'justified' and the trailer for what is likely to be an explosive tell-all from Harry and Meghan in their Netflix series dropped, and that's just this week in The Royal Tea.
Sarah Hewson is joined this week by former Royal Correspondent Michael Cole, TalkTV host and royal commentator Daisy McAndrew and Afua Hagan. After the royal family was once again engulfed in a race row the panel discuss why Lady Susan Hussey's 'interrogation' was racist, what damage it has already done to the royal family and just what Prince William should do to get out in front of the story. While Michael Cole claims Lady Susan Hussey is very old and wouldn't have meant what she said to cause offence when she repeatedly asked Ngozi Fulani where she was 'really' from, Afua hits back that Meghan has been more than justified 00:00 Michael Cole interview on Lady Susan Hussy 08:27 Afua and Daisy react to Lady Susan's racism 14:43 Does this justify Meghan Markle's claims? 16:55 Harry and Meghan Netflix trailer #TalkTV #TalkRadio #meghanmarkle #royalfamily #princeharry |
