Sean Dyche ushered in a new era at Everton Football Club in appearing at his first press conference on Thursday at the club's Finch Farm training base.

Dyche, who spent ten years as Burnley manager, spoke about the welcome he has received at the club, the challenges to be faced in every department at Everton and the lack of activity in the January transfer window.

He joins an Everton side that currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table, with just three wins from twenty games this campaign.

The 51 year-old will be thrown straight into the deep end, facing table-topping Arsenal at Goodison Park on Saturday, before a crunch Merseyside derby with Liverpool nine days later.
