How Lego toys help understanding the world: This is an experiment in my garden showing how a dam or dike would collapse when water rises: not because waterlevel is raising higher than the dam, but because the dam is sliding down due to water pressure in the sand.... This is most likely the way how most dikes along rivers collapse: not by overtopping, but by water pressure weakening the dam... making the dike slide down....
