OVER 14,000 COVID-19 CASES IN U.S.: The White House Coronavirus Task Force holds a press briefing on the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Moments ago, Treasury Sec. Steven Mnuchin officially announced that the income tax-filing deadline has been moved to June 15, saying that the delay in filing could result in an additional $300 billion poured into the economy. The Senate is also beginning deliberations over a GOP-proposed $1 trillion economic stimulus package right as the Labor Dept. reported 30% increase in unemployment claims in a week, one of the largest on record. There are over 14,000 coronavirus cases in the United States, including over 200 deaths.
