Brother Igor from the Basque Country gives a historical outline to the struggle for socialism and independence of the Basque Country.

On 13 April 2013 Tricontinental Anti-Imperialist Platform had its second event jointly organised with the Let Freedom Ring Coalition - THE LIFE & LEGACY OF BROTHER-LEADER HUGO CHAVEZ! (incorporating the commemoration of the 1916 Easter Uprising and launch of Let Freedom Ring! coalition)

This event seeks to bring together our specific challenges of anti-imperialist internationalism in the context of these islands, of which the Irish Easter Uprising of 1916 is the most important political event, and how the leadership of Hugo Chavez and the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela informs these tasks.

This is is an event jointly organised by the Tri-Continental Anti-Imperialist Platform (antiimperialist.net, website to be launched shortly) and the Let Freedom Ring! coalition (www.theglassishalffull.co.uk), the latter of whom will be having their london launch as the first hour and half part of this event.
