The search for a longer-term CEO of SPH Media Trust will begin soon, with the aim of finding a candidate next year, Mr Khaw Boon Wan said. Read the story: https://str.sg/JvZN
In response to questions posed by a CNA Digital reporter, Mr Khaw said the person the company is looking for would likely be Singaporean, even one based overseas, as it will be very hard to get a foreigner to be able to instinctively understand what Singaporeans’ interests are. He added that his ideal candidate would be someone who is digitally savvy, with digital media experience, but noted that the search has not started yet. Former SPH deputy CEO Patrick Daniel has been appointed interim chief of SPH Media Trust and Mr Khaw said he will be with the company for some time.
