According to the Star Kenya, Kajiado County Senator Philip Mpaayei ditched DP William Ruto for Hon Raila's Azimio. The senator lamented that UDA is a den of comanship and that he was rigged out during the UDA national nominations. Senator Philip Mpaayei was received by Kajiado County Governor Joseph Ole Lenku.
