Zingaat first shot into popularity in India with the Marathi-language romantic tragedy “Sairat” in 2016. A Hindi version was released with the Bollywood remake “Dhadak” in 2018 which featured rising stars Ishaan Khatter and Jhanvi Kapoor. (See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztUF1DOUMt4). The song instantly became a mass favourite and was danced to at weddings all over the subcontinent.

I first taught a fun choreo to this son at Kimi & Richard’s fusion destination wedding 🌴 🍸🍹 in 2018 to a diverse group of dancers, some of whom were dancing to Bollywood music for the very first time!
