U.S. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, team up with various elements across the Marine Air-Ground Task Force and kick off their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 24-28. The MCCRE serves to gather a sense of where the battalion's capabilities stand across all war-fighting functions.
