One of the first things all of our physical therapists do during an evaluation is GAIT ANALYSIS. The way a person walks tells them so much about what's going on with the body and an all too common gait problem is listing. If you have a sway when you walk (and/or a nagging lower back pain) it may be caused by a muscle imbalance in your butt. This A-Frame exercise targets the gluteus medius to correct a listing gait and may even reduce some lower back pain in the process! Give it a try and let us know what you think!
