GNB CHW Evaluation Workshop ||2018||

Community Health Workers (CHWs) are an important part of health system. GNB CHWs are continuously giving their effort to improve the health of sponsored child and their mothers as well as community pregnant women and their families in rural territories of Bangladesh. The major areas of GNB CHWs work includes regular home visit, monitoring blood pressure and providing first aid, cluster meeting with family groups, delivery support through referral, nutritional counseling, ANC, PNC, promoting immunization, health education etc. Total number of CHW is 65 from 5 different project areas of GNB (Meherpur, Nalka, Kalai, Bochaganj, Moulvibazar). Our CHWs appreciated by the members of their community for their contribution.
