What’s the Jaws 2 movie about?
The day after the inauguration of a luxurious hotel complex, Martin Brody (Roy Scheider from The French Connection), the chief of police of Amity, learns of the disappearance of a team of divers. He fears the worst. A shark had already come to swim in the waters of Amity a few years earlier. His worries are soon confirmed. Another accident occurs and the corpse of a whale bearing the bites of a giant shark washes up on the beach. Martin Brody immediately alerted the mayor and asked him to ban swimming. But the city council refused to take such precautions. The season looks promising and the financial stakes are too high. Brody, who had become too much of a nuisance, was removed from his position. He is reduced to waiting for the worst...
