Hey howdy hey how is everybody doing and welcome back to Disney Daily

Buzz lightyear is an undeniably popular character that everyone wanted to know more about when Toy Story first hit the theaters!
and because of all that curiosity -Pixar finally made a movie that that they knew fans would be dying to see!
In the newest film #lightyear we learn all about the fictional man who inspired the toy doll that would become a must have by Andy!
We get to see firsthand where the toy Buzz got his sayings, his mannerisms and even his dislike for the evil emperor Zurg!

We learn so much about Buzz Lightyear's backstory and we get a better understanding for why Buzz is the way that he is.

For example, his commitment to completing a mission. This is something that is incredibly important to Buzz in fact it is arguably the most important thing.
He won’t stop until he has achieved his goals. He is extremely dedicated and determined which is something I admired most about Buzz after seeing this new film.
Learning all this about his personality then gave me a better understanding for the Toy buzz that we know from Toy Story.

After all this toy is supposed to be an exact mini replica of him AND HE IS EXACTLY THAT!

The most obvious example happens when Buzz first lands in Andy's room.
Buzz was very determined to complete his mission of defeating Zurg despite all of Woody’s warnings that he was just a toy.
So with all this new insight to the character Buzz , I couldn’t help but wonder about my favourite character from the franchise- and that is Woody. I kept thinking to myself I always thought we would get a woody backstory/prequel before we got a buzz lightyear ONE

Because to me Woody is the heart and soul of Toy Story! But to my surprise we got a lightyear backstory first but even though Buzz’s story came first I thought to myself

Perhaps this opens the door to a Woody film-

Afterall, I would argue that after this movie gave more insight to one of the iconic toys in the duo- the fans would NoW want and expect to know more about the other!
So in today’s video I am going to explain what direction I think Pixar should take in terms of a Woody origin story!
